Στην chaosgroup έχουν ανακοινώσει οτι θα έχουν έτοιμο μέχρι το τέλος του έτους το V-ray 3.0 για το 3ds max 2014 και υπόσχονται φυσικά όπως πάντοτε, μεταξύ άλλων, μεγαλύτερες ταχύτητες στους υπολογισμούς.
Ειδικά για την unbiased brute force μέθοδο διάχυτου φωτισμού ύστερα από δοκιμές μας λένε οτι είναι 2,66 φορές ταχύτερη από την παλιά σε συνδυασμό με τον επιταχυντή embree της intel.

Εγώ πάντως που τον κατέβασα όλες οι δοκιμές μου έδωσαν χειρότερους χρόνους από πριν! Ίσως με τον vray 3.0 δουλέψει σωστά.
At chaosgroup they have announced that V-ray 3.0 for 3ds max 2014 will be ready by the end of the year and of course as always they promise, between others, faster calculation times.
Especially for the unbiased brute force method of global illumination after testing tell us that is 2.66 times faster than the old one when the embree intel accelerator was used.

I have already downloaded it but all of my tests gave me worst times than before! Maybe with vray 3.0 it will work better.
